Today we were able to help over 300 families for the holiday’s get brand new suits, coats and shirts at the Mark Ramer Chesed Center. It truly was a successful day with Leon Mayer Fund & Kosher Response doing the chesed we do for our community and beyond. Started off the morning with Kosher Response as we made our way to the Nassau County Police Department Nassau County PBA NCPD Foundation to donate thousands of individual hand sanitizers to our frontline heroes. Kosher Response at the Kehilat Pantry in Kew Gardens Hills, NY as we are unloading an entire tractor trailer of farm fresh produce to help the community with food insecurity. It is such an honor to be with Rabbi Nisanov and his team.

Met up with David Kaye yesterday as he was nominated for the #PantryPepperChallenge created by Dr. Craig Berry to help support the The Marion and Aaron Gural JCC food pantry. Dr. Berry grows Carolina Reaper’s and they are one of the hottest peppers 🌶 known to mankind and they are definitely hot! Either eat the pepper or donate or do both. Funds are being raised for the S.H.O.P food pantry at Gural JCC which helps with food insecurity and feeds hundreds of families. Please nominate 5 friends to partake in this fun charity event. Message Dr. Berry to pick up a Carolina Reaper is needed.
